Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing from or engaging with Songwe Trading Enterprise ("we", "us", or "our"). By placing an order or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Songwe Trading Enterprise is a shipping container sales and trading business based in South Africa. These Terms and Conditions govern all transactions and interactions between Songwe Trading Enterprise and its customers.
We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be available on our website.
All quotations provided by Songwe Trading Enterprise are valid for 7 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change after the quotation expiry date.
An order is only confirmed once a signed purchase agreement or written acceptance has been received and the required deposit has been paid and cleared.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion, in which case any payments received will be refunded in full.
All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your order. The remaining balance must be paid in full before delivery or collection of the container.
Accepted payment methods include Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), credit and debit cards (Visa and Mastercard), and cash for in-person transactions.
Songwe Trading Enterprise reserves the right to cancel an order if payment is not received within the agreed timeframe.
Delivery of containers is subject to availability of transport and accessibility of the delivery site. Delivery costs are quoted separately and are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Songwe Trading Enterprise will make every reasonable effort to deliver within the agreed timeframe. However, we shall not be held liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, road closures, or transport disruptions.
Risk of loss or damage to the container passes to the customer upon delivery or collection.
Customers are encouraged to inspect containers prior to purchase. Once a container has been delivered or collected and accepted by the customer, it is deemed to be in satisfactory condition unless a written complaint is submitted to Songwe Trading Enterprise within 24 hours of delivery.
Any claims for damage must be supported by photographic evidence and submitted in writing.
All deposits are non-refundable. Refunds on full payments will only be considered in cases where Songwe Trading Enterprise is unable to fulfil the confirmed order.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days.
Containers that have been delivered, collected, or modified cannot be returned.
Any modifications requested by the customer will be quoted separately. Modification work will only commence once full payment for the modification has been received.
Songwe Trading Enterprise is not liable for any modifications carried out by third parties after delivery.
Songwe Trading Enterprise shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products or services. Our total liability to any customer shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order in question.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
